I guess you got this wrong

PixelArt is something completely different. It means you more or less drop in every single pixel to create an image. What you have here is just pic with low resolution.

Other than that I kinda like it. Even though I would love to see "The woman with a face" instead. It has that painting look to it, but really looks unfinished.

KayaKure responds:

I know that I have placed it in the wrong category, and I have tried to change it, but it's like it not want to change it.

She were never meant to have a face, but I will maybe make a version with face when I got the time :)

What about....

"Nimmermehr", "Nevermore" or "Der Rabe"? ^^

Wings, tailfeathers and legs could be a bit longer, cause now it looks more like a pigeon than a raven. But the scribble style is definitely interesting.

Maybe you should give it a try and work it out a little more. So far it doesn't look bad.

Wonderful

It's a beautiful piece of art and has a slightly magical feel to it, very nice. Amazing job on the hair and dress, they already look realistic without colouring.

Honestly, I would really love to see this one coloured. And I'm kinda missing her reflection on the water. But still, it's great without a doubt.

Spacey floaty singey thingy

Nice twist on the Chow topic. I like the floating piano and mic. The glitter on the dress looks good and the beauty spot was a cool idea.

But I think you chose some wrong colors. I guess you picked similar colors for the dress and background intentionally, but it didn't turn out good for me. And almost the same with her skin and the piano, too similar. I think a black piano would have been a better choice for example. Generally the background looks a little blank, the curtain (I guess it is a curtain) ain't bad, but a little boring.

It's a good piece of art of course in my opinion. There's just some room for improvement. Overall your alien singer looks quite interesting.

BTW you should probably resize the whole thing a little or add some blur, to get rid of some pixelated lines which are still visible.

Still I like it!

J-qb responds:

thanks for the review. About the pixelated lines: I dont really know how they got there... The original image was twice as big; so I guess microsoft picture editor screwed with it when I resized it.

This is brilliant!!

It's cute and cruel at the same time. I love the horrified expression on the red cupcakes face and the jolly satisfied look on the blue one. Nom nom nom....

If only he looked more zombie-like. Now it looks like cannibalism rather than a zombie attack, but anyway it's great! This goes straight to my favs!

Waaaaay better

As I stated on the submission with all characters, I really like your designs. Plus, this time the photo is a lot better and so we can see your good work so much better, too.

Picking the right colour while working with clay can be difficult, but you did a perfect job with that. And this shot finally honours it.

I'm really looking forward to the other pieces. Keep it up!

PikaRobo responds:

Yep, I listened to the advice and took their picture on the counter that I usually do, it has the best lighting.

I'd say it's awesome, but....

that would be the understatement of the century.

It's amawesometastic!

There are so many great and funny details. I just love the whole perfect thing plus all the little amazing things.

I can't find any more words to describe my thoughts.

Just great!

Good work! ^^

You did a great job on the bots and I really like the other characters too. It's interesting how you managed to give them different facial expressions. Nice!

Too bad that the photos are kinda dark. It reduces the quality of the pic and the colours look less saturated than they actually are. Even worse, cause you did so good on everything else.

But really, that's the only thing I need to criticize.

I also like the setting with the screws and metal parts everywhere around, that's a good idea.

PikaRobo responds:

Even I'm disappointed in the dark camera work. I tried to fix it but I only made it worse. I would say my camera ruins everything I try photograph. But thanks for commenting!

"Just submit at least four pieces of quality art"

"Artist needs 4 works to be scouted."

He only got 2 pieces of art so far. Witchcraft! Pishogue! Burn him! :P

Funny Ryu spoof BTW.... ^^

This is so good....

.... I can't even think of a witty comment! :D

But honestly, I love the light-dragon, her pose and everything. gr33bl3r & LegolaSS have a very good eye for details and they are right, but I would not have noticed all the little things they mentioned.

The title is "Myra In Her Study " but it looks as if she is playing rather than studying or practising. This makes her seem very powerful. I don't know if this was intended but adds a nice twist to the title. I hope I'm not overinterpreting this. :P

Impressive work yet again!
