Takes a while to visually process everything that is going on. Not sure if the being is squashed or torn apart by the forces on either side, but I am very sure that’s exactly the feeling of opposing powers you were going for. Love the use of cold and neutral greys too.

So good. I enjoy how opulent they are. The shadow line up was a great idea. The clockless versions are also kinda scary in a way. Happy belated clock day!

Merol responds:

Thanks man, it's good to see you still around. Happy Clock Day!!

Ay I see the flood. Ferocious raptor you got there. I wish I could read the Captain's name btw. Nice idea to add the "fig. 3" and text like it was an actual historical note. It's just a bit difficult to make out some details here and there. The velociraptor anatomy looks great though.

SourCherryJack responds:

Thank you, Lu. It’s “Fleischer” I figured I’d be remiss if I didn’t throw in some German flair on it. I didn’t have time to really render something out so I figured gotta take as many aesthetic support notes as I could with the “fig 3” and the old notebook look I might just pull it off! Jury’s still out! But also ich bin ein bisschen betrunken

Next level incorporation of the thumbnail. The animation looks flawless. I really enjoy the little rebound moment after every transition. The crab is my favourite, but really all 3 designs and backgrounds are very enjoyable. Intelligent interpretation of the theme, imo.

Poor squished skeleton-footed abomination on the bottom. Carrying the weight of all this awesome art was to much for him.

I like the individual characters as well as the way you composed the merging. Nice take on the theme, too.

Love <3

Look at that smug face. I love-hate him and this drawing. Well done.

I just came here to plant the pun SourPuffGirls into your mind. You’re welcome.

Luwano.

I enjoy this drawing a lot. The color scheme works fantastic. I like that you made his head look like a wild animal rather than a too humanized version. Great pose and composition. Good choice on the armor design, the combination of scales and soft fabrics works really well. The little decals on the staff are the icing on the cake. They’re just a small detail, but emphasize the style / design so well.
Very well done!

MellonSnow responds:

Thank you very much! That means a lot!!

Well done! I especially like the way you drew StrawberryClock’s leaves and the crystalline surface of PolyhedronClock.

Overall the apocalyptic theme fits very well and the dreading expressions or the fact that SlurpeeClock is almost dried out add very well to it.

Now I continue trying to figure out the meaning of the smiley faces on Pineapple. Or will you tell us? And is that an agnry faic on Polyhedron?

Happy Clock Day!

Your art piece instantly captivated me. Very well done, very enjoyable color choices. I looks like it could be a still image from a Studio Ghibli animation at first sight. The ONLY little quibble I have is the drop shadow of the building. Judging from the angle, it should start on the corner of the small building.

Looking forward to more of your work.
