Great piece! The different materials, the lighting, the pose and perspective.... everything is just impressive.

I also like the little details like the rivets and the flash submissions titles.

Simply great

I'm not going to list everything I like about this picture, because that would take too long. Her pose is pretty cool and really dynamic. I especially like the idea with the damaged wire mesh fence.

Her shoe looks kinda twisted thought. Judging from her pose it should be turned to the side a bit more. Especially since the tip of the foot seems to point in the correct direction while the upper part with the laces does not.

As usual I like how you draw clothes and different fabrics and also the little details you incorporate in most of your works. Like the "SAB" in the shoe logo. ^^

The title was a great idea. I mean, why should they fight those monsters with baseball bats otherwise?

Thanks! In all honesty, I appreciate a good honest critique because they seem to be a lot harder to get. Not a lot of people will really take the time to look for flaws in a picture and notice such small details, so thanks a bunch!! C:

Pig!

First off, it's a great drawing. I'm not going to praise any "technical" details of the drawing, since everything seems fine as usual.

I like the motive, he looks the greediest of your four little piggies, so I assume he is the boss of them. They way you "deformed" his head makes him also look sleazy enough to do the job.

Also very "George Orwell"-ish.

Minecraft?

I don't know anything about Minecraft, but I still like the opening line "I shouldn't exist but my creator wastes time". lol

One can see that you were in a kinda hurry when you did it, but I appreciate your spirit.

Since there are shades on the body, head and feet, you should add shading to the tail as well. Also there are some pixelated parts every here and there, but as I said, I understand that you rushed this. I just wanted to mention it anyways. :P

And to me it actually looks more like a cat than a pig.

Great entry

I really like the speaker idea. It's a very creative way to bring the theme across, by not overdoing it. Since speakers could stand for any kind of popular music the stylized city does its bit and puts the emphasis on Hip Hop.

I especially like how you incorporated the light rays from the typical NG design.

The only tiny piece I could nitpick about is, that the outline of the tankman, that is working on the speaker cables, is a little stronger than on the other tankman. This is setting him apart from the rest of the picture a bit.

Overall an impressive entry. Good luck with the contest!

Impressive

Amazing job on the pig's skin, if it wasn't such a strange motive I would call it pretty realistic. But honestly, the details are really great.

Also funny idea! Somewhat worrying, but funny....

This is sick....

.... but in a good way. It's very unique and very stylish. The bunnies look really creepy and twisted. Their facial expression is priceless.

Same for the woman on the chair, she is worked out really well and everything is drawn pretty detailed.

The background may be a matter of taste, just like the bench they are sitting on, but I personally like it.

There are however some kind of dark brushstrokes where the smoke merges into the black background.

You did a really good job on our flood icon.

The grass on the left looks does look strange with the ends of your brush strokes peeping out. It looks much better on the right side. Generally the grass is less detailed as the bunny, but that's not a problem here.

The right ear from our view is a little too far to the left, since the bunny's head is pointed directly towards the viewer.

I especially like the way you did the eyes and the fur. Also very good job on the perspective and pose.

thanks, Totally agree on all points. The problem I had with this one is that I initially made it as the thumbnail and only later decided to upload it as standalone art. This means stuff that didnt really matter in the thumbnail was now a problem. The perspective was referenced, couldnt get it down without a ref.

Too much use of smudge tool

Like in your other piece, the smudge tool has been overused here. Unfortunately the forest looks more like a green wall than anything else.

The snow on the right part of the pic looks better than the other snow, you should have applied that style to the whole ground, I think.

All in all, you should really try to draw a pic with no or only little smudging if you draw digitally. To me, your acrylic pics look better btw.
