Hey there, I just wanted to drop a review, because I am impressed how your skills have improved or at least this piece shows your real skills more. I am not into furry content, and wouldn't come across your stuff, if it wasn’t for your contributions to the art forum. So in that regard, keep on arting. And good job on this submission.

Sorry to all the furry fans for my insolence btw.

OviManic responds:

Hey, thanks for the comment, man!

I fully understand not many people are into that furry stuff, so there’s no need to beat yourself up for it! Hell, there are some furry sub-genres out there that even I don’t care much for!

I love it, but I will also have nightmares based on it. Happy clock day!

SalsaClock responds:

Sorry about that :( Happy Clock Day!!

Rad rat & cutting-edge wedge.

SourCherryJack responds:

Damn. Cutting-Edge Wedge. That's good.

I like the character design. Very enjoyable color palette too. Not sure about the empty space on the left. Still, a nice piece of work.

tscoct responds:

was too lazy to come up with anything to fill that space, sorry

So good. I enjoy how opulent they are. The shadow line up was a great idea. The clockless versions are also kinda scary in a way. Happy belated clock day!

Merol responds:

Thanks man, it's good to see you still around. Happy Clock Day!!

Ay I see the flood. Ferocious raptor you got there. I wish I could read the Captain's name btw. Nice idea to add the "fig. 3" and text like it was an actual historical note. It's just a bit difficult to make out some details here and there. The velociraptor anatomy looks great though.

SourCherryJack responds:

Thank you, Lu. It’s “Fleischer” I figured I’d be remiss if I didn’t throw in some German flair on it. I didn’t have time to really render something out so I figured gotta take as many aesthetic support notes as I could with the “fig 3” and the old notebook look I might just pull it off! Jury’s still out! But also ich bin ein bisschen betrunken

Poor squished skeleton-footed abomination on the bottom. Carrying the weight of all this awesome art was to much for him.

I like the individual characters as well as the way you composed the merging. Nice take on the theme, too.

DieterTheuns responds:

Just wait till he visits *your* art portfolio!

I just came here to plant the pun SourPuffGirls into your mind. You’re welcome.

SourCherryJack responds:

Luwano.

I enjoy this drawing a lot. The color scheme works fantastic. I like that you made his head look like a wild animal rather than a too humanized version. Great pose and composition. Good choice on the armor design, the combination of scales and soft fabrics works really well. The little decals on the staff are the icing on the cake. They’re just a small detail, but emphasize the style / design so well.
Very well done!

MellonSnow responds:

Thank you very much! That means a lot!!

I enjoy to see an interesting crafting / smithing submission. The photo setup doesn‘t really present it very well though. My opinion is, that it could help if you posted a few shots from different angles in one pic or one main shot and two or three angles in the comment section. The large empty space doesn‘t help the presentation either.

Other than that, I enjoy the workpiece itself. Chunky crosses work well for medieval jewelry and the fact that it‘s madd from chainmail adds to the charm.

Looking forward to see more of your stuff.

Crazy-Tom responds:

Thank you so much for the critique and advice!! This helps a lot as I’m hella new to Newgrounds! I’ll start prepping some proper photos right away for other pieces

Remember: Still waters run wet.
