That's just great

I like how you "translated" Lion-o into the friday flood topic, with the pale skin and black instead of red hair. And after seeing the WIP before, you still managed to surprise me with the beheaded sidekick, good job. What more can I say?

AwesomeSaurus responds:

Haha thanks Luwano!!

What can I say?

It's perfect! Too bad I don't like perfect things.

But it's funny....

Meow.

Poor kitty....

...sacrifices itself for the flood.

I like how you managed to include the thumb. The additional objects are really funny, especially the aliens who remind me of Kang & Kodos. As said by others before, the background could use some additions.

Havegum responds:

Indeed poor kitty ...
Kang and Kodos? I'm gonna have to look this up.

And yes, the background is very plain. I suppose I should've added some clouds and whatnot ...
Happy friday flood!

Interesting

I really like the colour scheme. All the black and purple along with the strong contrasts make it look very interesting. It seems kinda unreal, like in a dream or something. While her pose is calm and relaxing the lines and the drawing style seems very fast and wild. Nice take on the theme.

That's a top-notch-super-duper...

mega-uber-perfect-brilliant-amazing-fantastic-appropriate-suitable image for the month of october, good sir! Suits the season, suits halloween, what more can we ask for? VincentGrey's pic would go better with a colder month btw.

I love the colour scheme, I love the motive and I love the damnation reflecting in his eyes.

So: Impeccably calendar-worthy!

Gah!
Cheers for the world-play, Luwano. Looks like you're a guy who reads review responses ;)

Wooohooo!

I already liked the forum post, but it is even better in fullview!

It's like a big bang of newgroundness. Even though it's a still picture, it is fun to watch and to discover one details after another.

Really good work, I keep my fingers crossed for your piece to be part of the calendar.

Yeah that's fantastic!

After all the Power Ranger wallpapers and all the waiting, this came out as the worthy finale of the previous works.

The different poses give each ranger his/her own personality and own dynamism.

Really great work and I'm glad you managed to top most peoples expectations after the single versions.

I agree, that it looks better without the zords, even though they themselves looked good, too.

Power Rangers look good

Ok, so far we have seen 5 Power Rangers and they really look good, the style suits them well, they make good wallpapers and I like the different poses a lot.

There is just one question that bothered me when I looked at all of them: Why is there no shading? Not a single shadow or lightspot. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but I think lights and shadows would definitely add to that good look.

Judging from your other stuff, you obviously did it totally on purpose, not out of laziness or cause you "couldn't do it". What leaves me with my question. So.... why?

5/5 & 9/10

Blud-Shot responds:

What you see in the wallpaper are flats. They have no shading or lighting like you noticed. Once I finish the last power ranger I will add them all in one poster and I will add shading and lighting.

The wallpapers are something different, I have too many semi-realistic digital paintings. Its fun to see something different sometimes. Rest assured though lol I will give them depth later on.

Remember: Still waters run wet.
