Great series
I really like "There She Is!!", every single episode. But the last episode disappoints me just a little, because he simply runs to the airport and suddenly many people help him. I expected they would defend themselves and change anything. But that's just because of my personal affectations.
Nevertheless the art and story are great and I appreciate your work. I wonder what will come after "There She Is!!". I'm waiting eagerly....
Good animated, but....
It really is smooth, so fluidanims really sounds like the right description and place for it.
Honestly, the animation is cool, but the movie is .... boring. I can't find another "nice" word for it. I like smooth animations and morphs and all the stuff but this one is boring, even though the stick men fight and run quick. I've never seen that on a movie: Action which doesn't thrill me at all.
Don't get me wrong, your stick men move perfectly and I like your animation.
I'm not sure what it is, but I suspect it's either the music which does not create the right mood or your timing or both.
A good piece of work, but I would really love to see some kind of "director's cut".
Some constructive critic
Let's start with some negative points....
- Short: What can I say about this?....It's just short. :)
- Soldiers "beaming": Sometimes soldiers disappear before they reach the end of the screen. Or they "jump" a little to the right or left. Keep a closer look on the onion skinning. This should fix it.
- Tweening: In the second scene there's a soldier running from right to left. The background has a nice "up and down" but your sprite is running in a straight line. A motion tween along a path would make it look better. This way your tank could be riding the dunes instead of flying in the air.
- No story: A story is not mandatory, but definitely gets you a better rating.
- Auto-Loop: Make it stop and add a replay button. Auto-replay makes every video look worse than it actually is (except SOME videos when the auhors use it on purpose)
Now up to the good points....
+ Sounds: You added sound effects and they almost always match. Nice one.
+ Music: Good choice, but you should credit the music.
+ Animation: Besides the "beaming" mentioned above, your sprite animation looks good for a first work.
Finally, it's a little sprite movie, but nothing outstanding. A good first step, but now you should keep on practicing. NG has many tutorials, maybe they help you. (Even I learned one or two things there, and I've never finished a flash)
ILL TRY TO IMPROVE
Great, really enthralling
The fact that this episode "has different color than before", like you said, makes it even more exciting. Honestly I hope the last one doesn't take too long.
In the movie, I like the group which is for the mixed love. Adds a new touch to it, really good idea. Or did they appear in the prequels already?
Hopefully we will still see movies from SamBakZa after "There she is!!" here on NG.
Knox....just.....knoxy....knoxiful....knoxellent
There is no bad Knox movie, but this one is the best. All time KlassiK.....back when klaymation konquered NG.
Interesting style
The style is very interesting. Please improve the sounds. Maybe some gunfire sounds instead of the music alone. The movie loops, a good one should stop and have a "Play again" button instead. This little feature could really improve the way people rate your flash work, cause an auto-loop looks like a beginners work. If you are a beginner at flash, then you are really good already. Looking forward for more, maybe longer videos from you. Voted 4 (style bonus :P) & rating 7.
Columbus' egg
Would be a terrible flash normally. But after I read a little about the history of this movie and its impact, I now understand why it became so popular. It's only about having a simple idea first.........a very simple idea :P
