A link to the Art

Posted by Luwano - July 23rd, 2010

Hey everyone,

actually I just want to leave some useful links for myself here, so I don't have to search them all the time.

But still, if there's anything you want to know about drawing, if you want to check some equipment or are searching for an art program, you will most likely find it following those links.

Re2deemer's fantastic list of absolutely FREE art programs.

Re2deemer also reviewed some of the art programs for you, so check it out, if you don't know what to use yet.

Art101's profile is like a guide through the art world. This post serves as the table of contents for all of his useful news posts and forum threads.

Now for those unscouted starving artist's. If you want to get scouted you should read and follow ornery's Handy Dandy Scouting Guide. It should answer all related questions.

Luxembourg reviewed the Wacom Bamboo Pen & Intuos 4 Medium graphics tablets. In case you are thinking about buying either of them, check out his post.

Due to the many comic art requests that pop up in the art forum, I'll save this article by Barry Lyga here. It's about writing comics. Most users that stumble into the forum have a simple dialogue and some narration and ask for someone to turn this into a comic. But first they need to write a comic, as explained in that article.

If you feel there's something missing, then please let me know and I will add it. But I won't add single posts/threads if the topic is already covered by art101's overview.
